In 1995 CT started experimenting with terracotta floor and wall tiles, which were sold locally. The response was good but due to the rather long process of producing this tiles CT has not been able to meet the demand hence supply always fell short of demand.

In an attempt to capitalize on the growing demand for the tiles, CT in 2002 brought in reconditioned tile plant consisting of a Sacmi 550 Press, an Imas 3 Layer Dryer and a 40 Meter Long Gas fired Roller kiln from Italy to produce floor/ wall tiles. This machinery will produce 1,200m2 per day at full capacity. This makes CT the first in Ghana to invest in modern tile equipment.
