1. WHAT KIND OF WATER CAN I FILTER?
Filtron has been tested using rain water, well and bore hole water, stored water (in poly tanks), water from Dams and lake.  Filtron was used to filter 2-3 day old stagnant water during the Ghana Northern Floods a few years back.

2. DOES FILTRON HAVE A PROVEN TRACK RECORD?
There are over 5,000,000 satisfied users World wide. Epidemiological studies show a drastic reduction in water borne diseases. The Filtron has won the World Bank Sponsored GDMP Innovation award at local and international levels.

3. HOW MUCH DOES FILTRON COST?
Recommended retail price for the complete filter with plastic receptacle should not exceed GH¢30.00.  Good drinking water is guaranteed for 3 years. Call for dealership details.

4. CAN FILTRON REALLY SAVE ME MONEY?
Yes! Compared with cheapest commercially available filtered water, for a household of 5 persons, Filtron will pay for itself in just one month!  Thereafter you enjoy clean filtered water for up to a maximum of three years.  Remember there are no expensive recurrent expenditure with Filtron usage.

5. HOW LONG DOES THE FILTER LAST?
It depends on the turbidity of source water and the required frequency of cleaning. If monthly cleaning is enough the filter should last up to 3 years. It can be cleaned by simple scrub brush and rinsing. No soap should be used on the clay pot.

5. I DROPPED THE CLAY POT AND HAD A SMALL CRACK AT THE BASE.  CAN I USE IT WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS?
The clay pot is designed to work without any cracks.  The pot is chemically treated and the pores are just the right size to ensure safe and maximum filtration.  If you notice any cracks on the pot, you will need to discontinue use immediately and change it to ensure your filtered water is safe.

7. DO I NEED TO CHANGE PARTS PERIODICALLY AND HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
Filtron does not require any part change.  The only activity required is occasional cleaning of both clay pot and plastic receptacle to get rid of filtered sediments.  This makes it one of the most economical ways to filter household water for drinking.

8. WHERE ELSE IS FILTRON BEING PRODUCED?
Filtron is presently being produced in Ghana, Nicaragua, Cambodia, Mexico, Guatemala, Haiti, Cuba and Honduras. New factories are projected for the rest
of Africa, the US and Britain.
